Biography
Attorney Michael P. Bonner is the founder of Bonner Law in Coral Gables, Florida. Mr. Bonner focuses his practice on representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice and personal injury matters. He handles medical malpractice claims involving catastrophic injuries and death as well as cases involving premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents and many other types of cases involving personal injury and wrongful death . He serves injury victims throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Martin Counties.
For the past 30 years Mr. Bonner has represented Hospitals, Physicians, Nurses and Clinics and their insurance companies in defending claims for catastrophic injuries and death caused by medical negligence. He continues to represent health care providers in malpractice and death claims however he now dedicates a significant amount of his time to representing victims who are injured due to someone else’s negligence. His 30 years of experience representing health care providers has provided him with the knowledge and skills necessary to advocate for the injured and has given him a unique perspective that allows him to effectively work with insurance companies and their attorneys.
As passionate advocate for justice, Mr. Bonner works tirelessly to ensure that full and fair compensation is received. He uses his many years of knowledge and experience to negotiate the best possible settlements but will not hesitate to take a case to trial, if necessary.
Mr. Bonner earned his law degree from Nova University College of Law. In recognition of his prior success, Martindale-Hubbell awarded Mr. Bonner its highest available rating of AV Preeminent*. In addition, he is a member the American Board of Trial Advocates, a prestigious invitation only association of trial lawyers, and has been repeatedly named a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers Magazine as well as a Legal Elite by Florida Trend Magazine. He enjoys staying active in his legal community and is a member of The Florida Bar and the Dade County Bar Association.
